Google has been a respected leader in the software industry for a long time. This internal memo from their CEO reveals some interesting bits:

  1. Even a giant (both in terms of number of employees and revenue) is going into cost saving mode. The sh*t is serious! 😬
  2. Although they’re slowing down recruitment due to “uncertain global economic outlook”, when they do hire, the focus is on “engineering, technical and other critical roles”. Phew! 😅
